Risks of Climbing/Mountaineering

Climbing, mountaineering, back country skiing and the activities related to them (e.g. approaching your climb or ski route) are dangerous and could result in you being seriously injured or even killed. These dangers and the risks associated with them are part
of these activities and although Mountain Sense guides are always working to reduce these dangers and risks, these activities would not be the same with out(the sense of challenge and overcoming risk) them.

At Mountain Sense, LLC, our approach is to teach you how to identify, assess and reduce these dangers and risks as best you  can. Then in your future personal endeavors you can make an educated decision about how the relative safety of these activities aligns with your risk tolerance.
